PART-TIME LONG-TERM CARE DIETITIAN – Washington DC

Morrison Management Specialists is seeking a part-time Clinical Dietitian to provide clinical coverage to two retirement communities in the Washington DC area. Responsibilities include providing Medical Nutrition Therapy to the resident population. Other duties include assisting the Director with resident services ensuring resident satisfaction, quality care, regulatory agency compliance, and good public relations through the safe and efficient use of resources.

Requirements:
Registered Dietitian
State licensure, if applicable
At least one (1) year of clinical experience preferred
Able to pass a criminal background check

We have a part time job opening for dietitians interested in pediatrics, food allergies, and eosinophilic esophagitis in Fairfax, Virginia within the INOVA health care system.

The job is for 10 hours a week, and you will be the dietitian within the multidisciplinary team who sees kids with eosinophilic and autoimmune GI disorders.

You, as the dietitian, would be responsible for providing dietary education on food allergies and elemental diets to patients during clinic times, as well as provide follow up phone calls to the families as needed. The clinic meets Mondays (clinic hours vary between 8:00 AM through 5 PM) and Thursdays; most Thursday clinics are in the evening (can start anywhere between 1 PM and 4 PM, with most clinics ending at 7 PM).
